People Watching

I watch them,

I see their faces,

I see what they show,

But hardly any of the story,

Most of it they hide,

Concealing the tears,

Or the heartbreak,

And looking into their eyes,

They’ve hidden the truth well,

Even their eyes don’t show much,

So you can’t assume anything,

You don’t know anyone just by meeting them,

You rarely know anyone at all,

They’ve always got something hidden,

So people watching might tell you somethings,

But most are left hidden.
